Do Ferrets and Rats get along?

Silly question, but do Ferrets + Rats get along or would the Ferret eat it!? Thank you!

Hi Katy, the only silly question is the one you don't ask! :)

Well if you are considering keeping a rat and a ferret I would highly recommend that you keep the ferret well away from the rat as ferrets are obligate carnivores and...rats are on the menu!

Unless you want to find your beloved pet rat torn to shreds I would not keep the two together...
