why do male ferrets loose their hair?

Why they loose their hair? what can you do to help get their hair back?

ANSWER:
Hi, sometimes if male ferrets are not desexed they can loose their hair during mating season when their hormones reach their peek.
However apart from this I am not aware of any other reason for why else a ferret, male or female, should loose their hair while healthy.

If you are experiencing this it is best to get it checked out by an experienced ferret vet as their could potentially be something seriously wrong with your ferret.
